What's Included?

The Liquid Lie
You were taught alcohol makes life better. This workshop exposes how that myth became your reality. You’ll learn how society sold you the idea that drinking is natural, normal, necessary, nice, and noble—and why breaking free from that narrative is the first real step toward change.

Why You Never Feel Good Enough
If deep down you believe you’re not enough, no amount of ‘not drinking’ will stick. This session helps you uncover how self-worth wounds drive your desire to drink. You’ll connect these beliefs to your upbringing, your PARTS, and your reliance on alcohol to feel whole.

You Know What to Do—So Why Aren’t You Doing It?
You’ve read the books, listened to the podcasts, maybe even tried to quit. So why can’t you follow through? This workshop reveals how internal resistance is sabotaging you and helps you stop blaming willpower so you can take real, aligned action.

Why the Truth Doesn’t Sink In
Ever had an insight hit hard—only to find yourself drinking a day later? Learn why PARTS of you filter out the truth to keep you “safe.” You’ll explore how protective mechanisms block change, and how to start letting truth actually land.

What Motivation Really Is (And Why You're Not Broken)
You’re fired up today, gone tomorrow. This session shows you why motivation is fleeting and how protector PARTS sabotage your consistency. Learn to create momentum by aligning your intentions with your internal system.

You're Not a Victim-You're The Cause
Blaming alcohol, your childhood, or your circumstances might feel justified—but it’s a trap. This workshop helps you reclaim power by recognising where you’re giving it away. When you take radical responsibility, you take your first real step into SELF.

Why You Drink at the Same Time Every Day
Whether it’s 5 p.m. or post-bedtime, patterns aren’t random. This workshop breaks down the rituals behind your cravings and shows you the emotional triggers hiding beneath them. Once you see the loop, you can interrupt it.

The Illusion of Control
Explore how PARTS create a story of “I’ve got this,” even when the evidence says otherwise. This is where moderation fantasies and performative control unravel.

Breaking The Ritual That Keeps You Drinking
You don’t just drink—you ritualise it. This workshop helps you deconstruct the routines that keep alcohol feeling comforting and predictable, and builds new ones rooted in authenticity, not autopilot.

How Shame Keeps You Drinking
Shame doesn’t just hurt—it drives relapse. This session reveals how shame hijacks your system and how to build compassion that leads to true, sustainable healing. You’ll start to forgive yourself in a way that sticks.

You Can't Change What You Don't Own
You don’t just drink—you ritualise it. This workshop helps you deconstruct the routines that keep alcohol feeling comforting and predictable, and builds new ones rooted in authenticity, not autopilot.

The Reclamation
This is where you take yourSELF back. In this powerful session, you’ll declare your worth, your voice, and your future. No more apologising. No more shrinking. This is the moment you start reclaiming your life on your terms.

The Rules You Don't Know You're Following
Unspoken rules govern your life—“be good,” “don’t upset anyone,” “don’t need too much.” These rules drive drinking and self-abandonment. This workshop helps you identify and consciously rewrite the rules you’ve unknowingly obeyed.

The Childhood Wounds You Still Drink Around
The root of your drinking may not be adult stress—it’s the unmet needs and pain from childhood that still echo in your system. This workshop helps you uncover how those early wounds shaped your coping behaviours and PARTS. You’ll learn to witness, validate, and begin healing those younger versions of yourself instead of numbing them with alcohol.

What Alcohol Really Costs You
You think you know what drinking is doing to your life—but most people massively underestimate the emotional, financial, relational, and spiritual toll. This workshop helps you do a full audit. Once you get radically honest about the price you’re paying, choosing change becomes a no-brainer.

The Fourth Wall
Step out of your performance. Uncover the social, familial, and cultural scripts you’ve been following—and start writing your own.

Why Peace Feels Uncomfortable
Learn why moments of calm can stir anxiety or urge a drink—uncovering the PARTS that equate stillness with danger or disconnection.

The Traffic Light Within
Introduce the Polyvagal metaphor—green, yellow, red—as a map of your body’s response to stress, safety, and overwhelm.

When They Still Drink
Learn how to maintain SELF-energy when people around you still drink—and why their behaviour doesn’t need to determine your choices.

The Safety They Create
Learn how to design a nervous system-safe life by tuning into spaces, relationships, and habits that keep you regulated—and releasing the ones that don’t.

In case we haven't met yet...
Hey, I’m Lee Davy 👋
I was like most people in Western culture—I didn’t stand a chance.
From birth, I was groomed by society to become alcohol-reliant. I believed drinking was natural, normal, necessary, nice, and noble. At 14, I had my first drink. By 35, it had infiltrated every part of my life—my marriage, my work, my parenting, my sense of self.
I drank daily. I gambled too. My wife—my partner of 20 years—finally had enough. She asked for a divorce. That broke me. I quit drinking, but it wasn’t enough to save the marriage.
With that momentum, I built STRIVE, left my job on the railway, and tried to start again. I met Liza. We fell in love. I relapsed—just for a month—but it shook me. We had a daughter, got married, built a life.
And still… she asked me for a divorce.
She told me it felt like being married to a little boy. That cut deep—but it was the truth. Because alcohol wasn’t my problem. It was a symptom. And quitting it hadn’t changed the way I responded to the world.
I was still reactive. Still stuck in PARTS. Still blaming others. Still clinging to control. Still numb to my inner world.
That was the moment I realised:
Quitting drinking wasn’t the end of the journey. It was the beginning.
So I built the STRIVE Method—first to save myself, and now to walk alongside others who want to live a SELF-led life, alcohol-free as fuck.
I’m not a guru. I’m not perfect. I’m not done. I’m still in the work—every single day.
And now, I’m giving you the exact first step I wish I’d had when I started:

The STRIVE Method worked for me. Growth is huge, and I’m still growing. Being with a group of like-minded people offers a haven to be “myself,” which is huge. Addiction was in the way—what would I do without you?

Glynis
I came to STRIVE with the notion and hope of 'giving up drinking'... and, although I have experienced both Sobriety and Moderation in my time here, the 'piece' that stands out the most is personal growth and awareness. I feel so blessed to be a part of his tribe. STRIVE is a place I call home, and I can't imagine my life without it.

Nicky
I believe in The STRIVE Method as it has helped me become a person who does not drink and has provided me with the tools to understand why I drank. Life has its ups and downs, and now I can work through the downs and see life through clearer lenses. STRIVE is a place to meet like-minded folk and be lifelong friends.

Tony
STRIVE is inclusive and supportive. You will find yourself amongst like-minded people who have trodden or are treading your path. There is so much empathy, understanding and encouragement. This is where I discovered that I am not a number on a balance sheet; I am a name on a friend list.

Mike
Lee Davy led me on an inward and outward journey to reclaim myself and create a new life. This program is extraordinarily awakening

Kim
The STRIVE Method has been life-changing. It isn't just about quitting alcohol. The experience has made me look within to understand why I drink, and why we all drink. Replacing alcohol addiction with a life full of meaning and purpose has been one of the greatest achievements of my life.
